AI Assistant

The RetainerOps AI assistant is a built-in Claude-powered interface that answers questions about your workspace — clients, usage, tasks, and more — in plain English.

What you can ask

The AI assistant has full read and write access to your RetainerOps workspace. You can ask it to:

  • Summarize usage across all clients this month
  • List tasks overdue across your entire client roster
  • Find clients approaching their retainer limit
  • Log time against a client
  • Create a task for a client
  • Pull a usage summary for a specific client
  • Show which retainer is most profitable right now

Availability

The AI assistant is available on Studio and Agency plans. Trial and Solo plans do not include AI access. See Plans & Pricing for details.

Message limits and overages

Each plan includes a monthly message allowance:

  • Studio — 100 messages/month
  • Agency — 500 messages/month

When you reach your monthly limit, additional messages cost $0.10 each. You can pre-load your AI wallet with credits from Settings → Billing. Credits are deducted at the rate of 10 credits ($0.10) per message.

Conversation sessions

The assistant maintains conversation history within a session so you can ask follow-up questions naturally. Session history is preserved across logins up to the plan limit (10 sessions on Studio, 20 on Agency).
